Auckland Slow Food Pasta Making Class

Dear Slow Food Members and Friends,

Italian Pasta Making -
A Beginners Workshop

Due to popular demand we are having another class !!!

Wednesday July 20th at Farro Fresh Constellation Drive
Start time: 7pm

Hosted by Slow Food with Hamish Pilkington and Louise Fawcett

Join us for a “Slow Food’ evening hosted by Hamish Pilkington of Cathedral Cove Macadamias and Louise Fawcett of Pacific Harvest and for an Italian adventure that focuses on the traditions of making food for friends and family.

The Slow Food Movement has an emphasis on getting back to the basics with food, natural ingredients are treated with care and understanding to create food that tastes of exactly what it is. Founded in Italy they have worked with food producers to bring back heirloom vegetables, keep traditional methods of food production alive and grown peoples understanding of where our food comes from.

This evening will be a hands on class for all to learn pasta making at home as well as sampling delicious chocolate macadamia gelato made especially for the night by Giapo Gelato. We will be presenting some wonderful wines on the night for you to sample.

We suggest you bring a pen and paper, an apron and an Italian attitude to enjoy some wine, food and dialogue about food.

We will have pasta machines and ingredient for sale on the evening as well as wine at special ‘evening class’ pricing for all attendees.
Come along for an evening that will re-ignite your love for basic ingredients and good food with an Italian focus.

Limited to 20 people
$65 per person.
Members receive a $10 credit on the night
